BJP releases list of 82 more seats for Karnataka Assembly

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday (April 16) released a list of 82 more seats for the Karnataka Assembly polls, media reports said. Till now the party has released the names of nominees for a total of 154 constituencies.

Polls for the 224-member Assembly seat in Karnataka would be held on May 12.

A day after BJP’s central election committee met in Bengaluru, the party BJP released its second list of candidates.

The BJP on April 8 had declared its first list of 72 nominees that included its chief ministerial candidate BS Yeddyurappa, and senior leaders KS Eshwarappa and Jagadish Shettar.

The Congress party on Sunday had released its list of 218 candidates.
