Phnom Penh, Nov 22 (IANS) The National Assembly of Cambodia on Tuesday ratified the Paris Agreement on Climate Change with 105 out of 106 lawmakers in attendance voting in favour of the accord.
Environment Minister Say Samal said Cambodia joined with world leaders to sign the agreement on April 22 in New York, Xinhua news agency reported.
“As of early November this year, 91 countries out of 197 countries had ratified the Paris Agreement on Climate Change,” he told the parliament.
