Central Industrial Security Force decided to form a All-women combat group in Delhi Metro trains

New Delhi, June 25: The Central Industrial Security Force has a good news for the security of all the women traveling in Delhi Metro.

On the International Yoga Day, (CISF) Central Industrial Security Force decided to form a all women combat group to look after the secuirty of delhi women. The step was taken majorly to reduce the cases of molestation in the Delhi Metro.

”Called the “Internal Combat Group”, the women demonstrated their skills in Connaught Place on Tuesday. The 20-minute demonstration was attended by senior officers of CISF and other paramilitary forces. CISF led the yoga session for all the forces, including NDRF, SSB, BSF, ITBP and others”, reports the TOI.

In order to make the announcement, a total number of 250 commandoes from CISF along with the personnel from the Central Armed Police Forces got together in the morning to celebrate Yoga day.

“We have received many complaints about miscreants trying to touch women inappropriately during peak hours and even commit thefts. To provide women safer travel, the team would be deployed in civil dress to keep a watch on such offenders,” said DIG CISF (DMRC) Raghubir Lal to TOI.

“These women use the smallest of daily use things to tackle a person with a much stronger built,” the DIG added.
