Hansal Mehta looks back at ‘Aligarh’ journey (Movie Snippets)
Mumbai, Feb 26 (IANS) As his film “Aligarh” on Sunday clocked one year since its release, filmmaker Hansal Mehta says he is overwhelmed with all the love that the film got.
“Last year, our labour of love hit the marquee. The love continues to pour in. One year of ‘Aligarh’,” Mehta tweeted.
“Aligarh” is based on the real life incident of Srinivas Ramchandra Siras — an academician at the Aligarh Muslim University — who was suspended from his job because of his sexual orientation. The film stars Manoj Bajpayee and Rajkummar Rao.
Mehta also praised Manoj saying that “without your charm, empathy and meditative presence Dr Siras would’ve been relegated to distant memory. You made him a hero, Manoj Bajpayee”.
He then went on to appreciate Rajkummar “for trusting us and making Deepu Sebastian his own”.
AbRam gets magic in SRK’s life

In the image, AbRam is showing his back and is seen wearing a long-sleeved sweatshirt and camouflage pants. The message on his shirt reads: “My Dream Is To Meet You”.
Shah Rukh is father of three — sons Aryan and AbRam and daughter Suhana.
Milap working on intense, dramatic scripts
Writer-director Milap Zaveri is working on two scripts, and hopes to strike the right chord with the projects.
“Writing two scripts right now that are so intense and dramatic… loving it! Hopefully seeti-taali bhi bajegi aur Izzat bhi milegi (Hopefully, people will whistle and clap and I will get respect as well),” he tweeted on Sunday.
On the work-front, Zaveri came out with his maiden production venture “Raakh”, a short film, in November last year.
