If 1 cr. statement is proved, Pakistan will be shamed: Congress
New Delhi [India], Dec. 12 (ANI): The Congress on Monday expressed its concern over the recent statement of Sardar Raees Inqlabi, a leader of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir-based Jammu and Kashmir Aman Forum, stating that Pakistan pays Rs. 1 crore to each terrorist to cross the Line of Control (LoC), and said if this is proved, then, Pakistan would be shamed and exposed worldwide.
"We must use this opportunity to highlight what this gentleman has said and tell the world how Pakistan in PoK is not only sending terrorists with money across in the Indian borders but also encouraging those terrorist organisations that have been banned worldwide," Dikshit said.
"If we are able to prove this, then it will shame Pakistan and hopefully make them change their strategy," he added.
Urging the government to take cognizance of the matter and take some stringent action, the Congress leader said, "This information is very serious. I hope the government and security agencies take full note of this, cognizance of the fact and the first thing should be that in case there is some actionable intelligence in this (then) we should see that our borders are not breached.nor these people are allowed to cross the border."
Inqlabi said, "You (Pakistan) are hiring killers and murderers; you pay them one crore rupees and turn them into a bomb and make them cross LoC, which is the main reason of tension. We condemn this terrorism. If you are so fond of firing, you must fight army to army." (ANI)
