Lakshmanan, Swati to lead Indian pack at Delhi half marathon

New Delhi, Nov 15 (IANS) G. Lakshmanan and Swati Gadhave are all geared up for the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon to be held here on Sunday.

Army runner Lakshmanan bagged numerous titles by winning the TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2016, ADHM 2013, and the Cochin Marathon.

His timing at the Cochin Marathon was 1:04:38, being his personal best. He will participate this year with Srinu Bugatha, Mohammed Yunus, Pradeep Singh and others.

Srinu Bugathax won the Jaipur Marathon 2015 by finishing the Half Marathon in 1:05:26. Yunus won the Kolkata Marathon 2016 with a timing of 2:30:37 and stood third here in 2015 with a timing of 01:04:46.

Pradeep stood third at the Delhi Half Marathon with the timing of 1:08.32.

Among the women athletes Swati won the TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2016 with a timing of 34:45 and the 10,000m Federation Cup 2016.

Sanjeevani Jadhav was the runner up at the TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2016 with a timing of 33:50:99 minutes.
