Maruti Suzuki SX4-SCross after Facelift would be first launched in Europe
Hungary, July 30: To be showcased at the 2016 Paris Motor Show later this year, the new Maruti Suzuki S-Cross has now been seen in a Bright Red exterior colour at a dealership in Hungary.
New Suzuki SX4-SCross facelift will be first launched in Europe, starting from Hungary where the car has already arrived at Suzuki dealerships, while customer test drives and bookings have also opened, reports rushlane.com.
Suzuki has also confirmed the addition of new 1.4-liter BoosterJet petrol 4 cylinder engine option. This will be offered with the top of the line SX4 S-Cross. This engine will deliver 140 PS, making it the most powerful S-Cross ever. Apart from this, the existing 1.6-liter petrol and diesel engine options will continue to be on offer.
The 1.6-liter petrol engine delivers 120 PS and 156 Nm of torque, while the 1.6-liter diesel engine delivers 120 PS and 320 Nm of torque. Transmission options on offer are 6 speed MT and AT, while there is also the option of AWD variant.
In India, new S-Cross will be offered with the same engine options as offered on the current S-Cross. These are 1.3-liter diesel generating 90 PS and 200 Nm along with a 1.6-liter diesel generating 120 PS and 320 Nm. These engines are mated to 5 speed MT and 6 speed MT respectively.
