Non subsidized LPG cylinder to cost Rs 86 more
New Delhi, March1:The Rs 86 hike in price of non-subsidised cylinder is in line with the rise in global LPG product prices.
‘’There will be no net impact of the increase on the LPG consumers receiving subsidised refills,’’ the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas said.
The price of non-subsidised cooking gas or LPG was hiked by Rs 86 per cylinder. This is an outcome of firming international rates, the oil companies have said. The 14.2 kg cooking gas cylinder that consumers buy beyond their 12 cylinder at a subsidised rate will now cost Rs 737 in Delhi. This was announced by the state owned fuel retailers.
The 14.2-kg cooking gas cylinder that consumers buy beyond their entitled 12 bottles at subsidised rates, will now cost Rs 737.50 in Delhi, state-owned Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) said.
For example, consumers will pay Rs 737 for a new refill in Delhi and will receive subsidy amount of Rs 303 in their account and the net price for the consumer will be Rs 434, which remains unchanged.
