Parliament LIVE : Fireworks are expected in Parliament today
New Delhi, Dec 15: A day after Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi threatened an earth-shattering disclosure on note ban move to expose Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s personal complicity in corruption, fireworks are expected in Parliament on Thursday (20th day of winter session) over the implementation of demonetisation scheme and other issues.
Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu sought a discussion on AgustaWestland scam and said that the guilty
has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present in Parliament for the remaining two days of the winter session.
Meanwhile, a belligerent Opposition has decided to continue its protest against demonetisation. It is also asking for the resignation of Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju for his alleged involvement in the Rs 450-crore Arunachal hydro power project scam. Only two days are left for Parliament’s winter session to end this Friday.
The BJP has decided not to allow Rahul to speak first.
Meanwhile, the Opposition leaders meeting in Parliament has just begun.
