The 37-year-old Indian climber last month made the fastest double ascent of Mount Everest and became the first woman to reach the highest point on earth twice in five days.
Jamsenpa's ascent of the world's tallest peak in the Himalayas at 7.45 am on May 22 was her fifth overall, and the second after May 16.
The 37-year-old mother of two had started her fifth ascent on May 19, climbing almost non-stop from Everest Base Camp at 17,500ft till 10 p.m.
Earlier, Jamsenpa had scaled the Mount Everest twice within 10 days in May 2011 before again climbing the highest peak on May 18 in 2013.
With her previous expeditions, she already held the record of being the only woman in the world to climb the top of the world's tallest peak twice in a single season. (ANI)
