Probe in Chennai infosys employee’s death at a Chennai railway station point to a Stalker
Chennai, June 27: More than 72 hours after the gruesome hacking of a 24-year-old Infosys employee at a Chennai railway station, railway police sources have revealed that a stalker may have been involved in the murder.
As per reports, the police has been given leads by the victim’s family and friends.
Earlier, the police released a second CCTV clip and appealed to the public for help in nabbing the accused.
The clip shows the alleged killer wearing a check shirt with a backpack walking outside the railway station after the crime.
The police is also scanning the CCTV footage at the Infosys campus to see if the alleged suspect could be found anywhere around the area.
24-year-old Infosys employee Swathi was hacked to death at Nungambakkam railway station in Chennai on Friday morning.
The victim’s family had addressed the media on Sunday and said they don’t know the man seen in the CCTV footage.
They also denied media reports that claimed that the victim was involved in a love affair with the man and said it was unfair to speculate over the issue before the probe gets over.
Meanwhile, DMK Leader MK Stalin also met the kin of the victim and assured that them of a fair probe.
