Rajinikanth flies: Air Asia pays tribute to Thalaivar with special ‘Kabali’ aircraft
Kabali is arguably going to be the biggest release of this year, and we aren’t just saying this because we’re fans of Thalaivar. It’s the immense buzz around the film that makes it the most awaited release as well.
After the film’s teaser and first song promo (Neruppu Da) released to over a million views each, and while the release date of the film is still being debated on, Malaysian airlines Air Asia has paid a tribute to superstar Rajinikanth.
As the official airline partner for Rajinikanth-starrer Kabali, Air Asia India have created a special aircraft with massive posters of Kabali with the superstar in his don avatar. ” Air Asia unveiled its all new rebranded aircraft, with a livery dedicated to the most awaited movie of the year Kabali,” they said in a statement to ANI.
This aircraft was also used in a few scenes from the film. It will be jetting across the country, covering cities like Bengaluru, New Delhi, Goa, Pune, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Guwahati, Imphal, Vizag and Kochi.
There is also going to be a special flight from Bengaluru to Chennai that will transport fans to watch the first day first show of Kabali.
According to this Mint report, the producer of the film Kalaipuli S. Thanu said, “Only a Superstar like Rajinikanth demands such popularity and fame, breaking the barriers of age and geography. We are thrilled beyond words to see such excitement surrounding Kabali from the fans and brands that have associated with us. We look forward to seeing the reactions of our fans once the movie releases
Well, we look forward to seeing Kabali even more! The release has not been finalised between 15 July or 22 July, and we’re all waiting with bated breath.
