Area 139AA, Income-assess Act says: “Each individual who has been distributed perpetual record number as on the first day of July, 2017, and who is qualified to get Aadhaar number, should insinuate his Aadhaar number to such specialist in such shape and way as might be recommended, at the latest a date to be told by the Central Government in the Official Gazette: Provided that in the event of inability to hint the Aadhaar number, the changeless record number apportioned to the individual should be regarded to be invalid and alternate arrangements of this Act should apply, as though the individual had not connected for assignment of lasting record number.”
