Benelli TNT 600i, the most popular model in the Italian sportsbike’s ABS launch price Rs. 5.73 lakhs

New Delhi, August 20: The Benelli TNT 600i, arguably the most popular model in the Italian sportsbike brand’s stable, is now available with optional ABS. The new variant is priced at INR 5.73 lakh (ex-Delhi).
Save for the addition of ABS, the specifications of the 600i stay intact. Given that the TNT 600i is a four-cylinder sportsbike with serious performance credentials, the availability of ABS is set to enhance its appeal, reports rushlane.com.
The mid-weight naked street fighter is powered by a 600 cc inline four-cylinder engine which is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The motorcycle is capable of belting out 84 hp at 11,500 rpm and 54.6 Nm of torque at 10,500 rpm.
The motorcycle is being locally assembled out of CKD kits at DSK Motowheels’ facility at Wai, near Pune. The ABS equipped variant is reported to be ready to hit the showrooms towards the end of this week.
The company would be launching ABS equipped variants of other models in a phased manner. In a year’s time, we expect the entire DSK Benelli range in India to offer ABS as an option.
The Indo-Italian entity has been going pretty well in the country’s burgeoning sports bike market. A comprehensive pipeline of products have been lined up for the near future.
