BJP says Rahul Gandhi suffers from amnesia in RSS defamation case

NEW Delhi,Sept1: Rahul Gandhi “suffers from amnesia”, alleged BJP parliamentarian Rajiv Pratap Rudy on Thursday, after the Congress vice president said he won’t retract his allegation that the RSS killed Mahatma Gandhi.
“Rahul Gandhi, today, is seen as an inconsistent leader,” echoed Sabmit Patra, BJP spokesman.
Earlier on Thursday, Rahul told the Supreme Court (SC) that he stands by his 2014 statement that the RSS killed Mahatma Gandhi and added that he is ready to face trial for saying that. Through his counsel Kapil Sibal, he also withdrew his petition seeking to quash a defamation case against him filed by an RSS activist.
Rahul’s move came a little over a week after he backtracked in the same court and said that he had not accused the RSS as a whole of killing Gandhi.
