Kolkata, Feb 13: Controversial Calcutta High Court Judge CS Karnan defies the Supreme Court order and refuses to appear before the court to face contempt proceedings.

Judge Karnan was expected to appear in court today to respond to a contempt notice issued to him for writing letters to various authorities, including the Prime Minister, accusing several judges of corruption.
