First trailer for Wonder Woman released

Los Angeles, July 24: On Saturday at San Diego Comic-Con, Warner Bros. revealed the first trailer for Wonder Woman, the superhero origin film for the first lady of DC Comics and arguably the most recognizable female hero in all of comic books.
The footage for the upcoming blockbuster, directed by Patty Jenkins (Monster), shows the Amazonian princess awkwardly meeting Pine’s fighter pilot character.
Gadot debuted as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which made $827 million worldwide when it launched in theaters in March. However, that film earned a tepid response from critics and fans alike, meaning Wonder Woman has a bit of work cut out for it to win over DC Comics fans.
Of course, trailers are trailers, and this is just a slice of the movie — this movie could end up being not great. But for fans who believed that Wonder Woman was the best thing to come out of Batman v. Superman, as well as fans who have cherished the character and been waiting for what seems like forever to see the character in her own movie, this is an exciting start.
Wonder Woman is slated for release in 2017.
