Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 31: The ministers in Kerala are toeing the lines of Tamil Nadu Finance Minister O Pannerselvam who used to prostrate before party supremo J Jayalalithaa, ridiculed Leader of opposition Ramesh Chennithala.

At present, those holding ministerial posts have little significance and the CM has become the power centre. Many of the files in secretariat are awaiting the clearance from AKG centre. The CM’s words are affecting the morale of the employees,” he said while addressing the party cadre after inaugurating the Alappuzha Collectorate picketing on Tuesday.

”Pinarayi’s ministers are now dancing to his tune and they are only his rubber stamps. The state government is under the full control of Pinarayi and AKG centre. The files in the state cabinet are being kept in the AKG centre for its approval,”said Ramesh. “The state is now seen as a paradise of stray dogs and thieves. The state is also a safe heaven for the thieves from foreign countries,” Chennithala said.

He said that police become inactive in the state. “Once the CPM took the charge of law and order, the murders and crime cases became rampant,” Chennithala said. He said that chief minister has perished the confidence of the government employees through the unnecessary criticism. DCC president A A Shukoor presided over the function.

The UDF had staged protests in front of Collectorates in 13 districts except Thiruvananthapuram alleging that the state and central governments are adopting anti-public policies.
