Moroccan model caught during probe into the Delhi sex racket; accused used to manage a travel firm run by Sanyal

Delhi, July 23: Police on the hunt of the sex racket in Delhi have found a Morrocan model to be a key figure in facilitating connections and meetings between clients, the women and P N Sanyal, the main accused. The woman who apparently managed the travel firm run by Sanyal used to also visit a farmhouse owned by his associate. The woman was arrested after Sanyal mentioned about her during interrogation.
Sanyal was arrested after a tip-off received by the Income Tax department over his illegal activities. During his arrest the cops also found a 23-year old foreigner who was kept in captivity against her will. The girl who came to India in February on a tourist visa was forced into the prostitution ring where top defence personnel, politicians and corporates were clients of Sanyal.
Police also found other incriminating evidence in the form of Whatsapp Messages and SMS messages. Many fake letterheads bearing names of many top politicians from the BJP and SP fold also emerged during the search.
“Sanyal used to impersonate as MPs or senior bureaucrats to influence government officials. He had influenced a senior IAS officer by posing as Samajwadi Party MP, Naresh Agarwal. We have recovered blank letterheads of BJP MP Jagdambika Pal, which had his forged signature”, DCP Ishwar Singh said.
Photocopies of more than a dozen passports belonging mainly to women from central Asian countries, and their contact numbers, were recovered from his apartments in Safdarjung Enclave and Vasant Kunj of Delhi, and Gomti Nagar in Lucknow.
The police have booked the arrested under Section 14 of the Foreigner’s Act.
