Patna High court cancels prohibition law of Bihar

Bihar, September 30: The Patna High court has cancelled Bihar’s prohibition law.

The Patna high court had termed the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act as illegal and struck it down today.

After four months of passing the law banning alcohol in the state of Bihar, the state had brought an amendment. It gives adults the right to drink alcohol and keep alcohol at their dwelling plasces.
