See how well Melania Trump explains the life of Barack Obama and Michelle Obama

United States, July 19: Melania Trump the third wife of the 2016 U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump. She is a Slovene-American jewelry and watch designer and former model. On July 18, 2016, Melania Trump gave a speech on the first day of the 2016 Republican National Convention to talk about why her husband Donald Trump would be the superior United States presidential candidate, as opposed to his main opponent Hillary Clinton of the Democratic Party.
The speech, however, contained words that followed almost the exact same pattern as the speech that Michelle Obama, Barack Obama’s wife gave at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Following Trump’s speech, various media outlets reported the similarities, stating that Trump’s speech was “awkward”, “embarrassing” and “an act of plagiarism”.
Before the Republican National Convention, presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump ‘s wife Melania was filmed telling NBC’s Matt Lauer that she had written the speech she would make to delegates at the convention with “as little help as possible.” In that case, she may have to explain the astonishing similarities between a passage in her address, and an excerpt from Michelle Obama’s speech at the Democratic National Convention in 2008.
And here are transcriptions of the excerpts from Melanie Trump’s and Michelle Obama’s speeches, and identical portions are in bold, italic font, as reported by timesofindia.indiatimes.com.
Melania Trump
“From a young age, my parents impressed upon me the values that you work hard for what you want in life , that your word is your bond , and you do what you say, and keep your promise, that you treat people with respect. They taught and showed me values and morals in their daily life. That is a lesson that I continue to pass on to our son. And we need to pass those lessons on to the many generation s to follow, because we want our children and this nation to know that the only limit to your achievements is the strength of your dreams, and your willingness to work for them.
Michelle Obama
“And Barack and I were raised with so many of the same values : that you work hard for what you want in life ; that your word is your bond and you do what you say you’re going to do; that you treat people with dignity and respect , even if you don’t know them, and even if you don’t agree with them.
And Barack and I set out to build lives guided by these values , and pass them on to the next generation . Because we want our children — and all children in this nation— to know that the only limit to the height of your achievements is the reach of your dreams and your willingness to work for them .”
