Telugu flick Rudramadevi nominated for Oscar
Hyderabad: Gunasekhar-directed Telugu historical flick ‘Rudramadevi’ gets the Film Federation of India(FFI) nod for Oscar race. Rudramadevi was a ruler of the Kakatiya dynasty in the Deccan Plateau and one of the ruling queens in Indian history.
The Film Federation of India nominated the ‘Rudramadevi’ film under the best foreign language films category to the Oscar committee.
The film has Anushka portraying the title role ably supported by Allu Arjun and Daggubati Rana.
The director tweeted about it while thanking the Film Federation of India for its gesture.
