Mayawati insulted the whole women community with her speech, expelled BJP leader Dayashankar Singh hits back
New Delhi, July 21: Expelled Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dayashankar Singh, who has come under fire for his prostitute remark, on Thursday hit back at the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo as he said that Mayawati herself insulted women with her speech in Lok Sabha.
According to report, Daya Shankar, who has issued an apology on Wednesday for his recent remark, told media, ‘Mayawati herself insulted the entire women community when she mentioned ‘mother and sisters’ in context with prostitute remark in Lok Sabha yesterday’, as reported by zeenews.india.com.
When asked if he is planing to take any legal action the BSP supremo for her speech in Lok Sabha, Daya Shankar refused to comment.
Singh, who was recently appointed as the Uttar Pradesh BJP vice-president, said he has accepted the party’s decision to expel him for six years.
Revealing his plans for future, Singh said that he would continue to work for public welfare.
