Man forcefully kiss and hug an air hostess on Dubai-bound flight, jailed for 3 months

Dubai, Sep 05: A man aboard a Dubai-bound plane who was arrested after he tried to forcefully kiss and hug an air hostess on the flight, has been sentenced to three months in prison.

The incident took place when the plane was enroute to Dubai from Dar es Salaam on April 22.

According to a report in the Khaleej Times, the man was arrested after landing at the Dubai airport.

In her statement to the police, the air hostess said that the accused earlier requested her for a souvenir picture with him, to which she agreed. However, when the photograph was being clicked by the other staff, the accused put his hand on the victim’s shoulder and tried to come closer to her.

Upon asking him not to do so, the accused then tried to hug the victim forcefully and even planted a peck on her neck.

The man who has now been taken into custody, has admitted all the charges against him and has been sentenced to three months.
