Islamic State threatens to bomb Miss Universe pageant in new tutorial video

London, Aug 10: The terror group Islamic State has threatened to attack Miss Universe pageant 2017, which is scheduled to be held in Philippines, through their tutorial video showing prospective martyrs how to make a suicide vest, reports India Today.
Addressing ‘brothers who love martyrdom’, a jihadi issued a widespread threat, urging terrorist supporters to ‘target the blood of foreigners whose nations have participated in the war against ISIS’, the Fox News reported.
The group shared a video on the encrypted messaging app Telegram where they recommended IS Philippines Supporters to ‘create a bomb for Miss Universe’. The message called on ‘everyone who can’ to launch an attack at the event which is scheduled for January.
The Islamic State (ISIS) threat is thought to be growing in South East Asia with the group gaining support in the region.
The Philippines is a primarily Catholic country with Islam the second largest religion.
However, ISIS has been losing ground in its middle east stronghold over recent months.
Earlier on Monday it was reported that elite SAS soldiers had been pictured fighting ISIS terror thugs in Syria.
Photographs – believed to be the first to show the British highly-trained special forces in Syria – show around a dozen of the soldiers on four 4x4s bristling with weapons.
The BBC said that the photos were taken immediately after an ISIS attack had killed nine Syrian rebels at Al Tanaf base.
A New Syrian Army spokesman refused to comment on the pictures of the special forces, but said: “We are receiving special forces training from our British and American partners. We’re also getting weapons and equipment from the Pentagon as well as complete air support.”
In May it was reported that British special forces are leading a secret Coalition mission to snatch Islamic State commanders before a major assault on Mosul in Iraq.
Prisoners taken by the SAS are being handed over to Kurdish and Iraqi security officials for interrogation.
It is part of a plan to unnerve the enemy before an assault on the stricken city in the north.
