Army foils infiltration bid along LoC in Tangdhar sector killing three militants

Srinagar August 22The Army foiled an infiltration bid Sunday along the LoC in Tangdhar sector in Jammu and Kashmir, killing three militants who were allegedly involved in an attack on a BSF post in the area two days ago.

“Three terrorists have been killed so far,” Defence Spokesman Lt Col N N Joshi said. “We have recovered three weapons (from their possession).”

Lt Col Joshi said the three infiltrators had attacked a BSF camp in Tangdhar two days ago. Three BSF personnel were critically injured in the attack on the camp.
